This past week, we did another clothing quiz. We asked you to share your most reliable clothing you own — something that has held up for years. We shared your answer with one of our subscribers and shared their answer with you.

We weren’t expecting that some of you would take the time to write heartwarming stories about why you love your favorite clothes. One of you told us about a beige cardigan that you’ve kept forever and said:

“A friend gave it to me back in high school, it got me through junior and senior year. I had stained it with paint in art class and I had a falling out with that friend but I still wore it every day. It's been about 4 years and I haven't worn it in a while, but I got back in touch with that friend and wore it out with her, besides the stain it's in great condition and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.”
